FAQs about Fine Art Prints
-
How do I pick a print style?
-
The different print sizes, mediums and mounting styles offered for my fine art photography differ and each one offers a unique viewing experience. Here is a general guide:
-
Choose your size:
-
Artwork should compliment the space that it will be showcased. You can contact me for a free consultation and support by clicking the "Contact Us Here!" button at the top of this page.
-
-
Choose your medium:
-
Metal and acrylic are great options for those that want a modern and sleek look with crisp, vibrant colors that have a three-dimensional, high-definition appearance–especially when displayed with proper lighting. It should be noted that acrylic currently holds the highest standard for fine art in the printing world.
-
Canvas has a softer look and are ideal for light and airy spaces.
-
-
Choose your mount style:
- Metal comes with three different options for mount style–inner box, standoff, and gallery.
- Inner box mount seems to be the most popular style. They add depth and give the print a gorgeous floating effect.
- Standoff mount also provides a floating effect, but uses an anchor and barrel system to space your print from its mounting surface.
- Gallery mount is similar to the inner box mount with an added 2-3mm thick PVC backing along the perimeter of the print to give the it a smooth, clean look around the edges, especially when observing from an angle.
-
Canvases are stretched over locally sourced, kiln-dried pine wood and easy to hang setup with a coated copper wire.
- Metal comes with three different options for mount style–inner box, standoff, and gallery.

FAQs about Returns/Refunds
-
What is your policy on returns and refunds?
-
Due to the nature of photography, all sales are final. Once a transaction has been completed (i.e., the buyer selected and paid for the photo and Picturesque Fine Art sent the buyer the correct photograph) it is then considered non-refundable.
